Please help us Spread the Warmth to your neighbors!

Join our charitable campaign to help families in Central Maine stay warm next winter.

Every winter, there are families across Central Maine who suffer because they can’t afford to heat their home. Others live in unsafe conditions because of a failing heating system. These old systems may have defects that cause dangerous carbon monoxide to leak into a home.

Our Spread the Warmth campaign can change that!

Working with our partner Catholic Charities Maine we will select one homeowner to receive a new furnace or boiler free of charge. Murray-Heutz will donate the time and expertise to install the heating system before December 25. We are currently seeking nominations for eligible individuals or families in need. Once all nominations are evaluated, Catholic Charities Maine will help us choose one nominee to receive a new furnace or boiler. Nominations can be received from anyone who wishes to touch someone’s heart. The deadline for nominations is November 24, 2017.

Here are two ways that you can help:

Even if you don’t have a nominee in mind, you can still help by making a donation to the Spread the Warmth campaign. Every winter, Catholic Charities Maine receives dozens of calls per month from people who need help keeping their home warm.

Your donation will be used to help additional families in need. If we raise enough money, we will purchase more heating systems and donate our time to install these for our neighbors in need. Your donations may also be used to help families pay for their heating fuel.
