As a contractor that installs and services gas equipment every day, we are often asked if appliances can be converted from natural gas to propane (or vice versa).

The short answer is sometimes. But the process is not simple and requires a professional, licensed technician.

Converting an appliance from one fuel to another these days is not as not as simple and straightforward as it used to be – in fact, some appliances can’t be converted at all.
