Answering your questions

Q: What will be the biggest change moving forward?
A: We’ve been operating as one company for a couple of years now, so nothing should feel different. Of course, we have a new logo. We’ve improved our website so you can look up your account and pay bills on line. We now offer more products and services. And we now back our quality with several important guarantees.

Q: What are your guarantees?
A: We guarantee you fair pricing, we guarantee your repair will be done right the first time, we guarantee we will arrive at your home on schedule, we guarantee that we will leave your home the way we found it, and we guarantee you will not run out of fuel when you’re on automatic delivery.

Q: What are the Loyalty Dollars I see on my account?
A: To show our appreciation, we have awarded every customer with $50 in Loyalty Dollars on their account. Loyalty Dollars can be used to save money on new equipment that you purchase from us.

Q: Are the people I’ve interacted with before still there?
A: Yes. we’ve really been operating as one company for several years.

Q: Will my fuel deliveries change?
A: No. All of your deliveries will still be handled out of the same offices. But for now, you may get your deliveries from either a Murray or Heutz truck. Just remember, we are the same company, regardless of the truck you see.

Q: Will my delivery ticket change?
A: Except for the logo, no.

Q: Who should I call to service my heating system?
A: Our service department is available just as before. Call us using the same numbers as always. We provide service on heating systems seven days a week, 24 hours a day during winter. We now have the same great team of certified technicians ready to serve you. You can count on us to be there fast and do the job right.

Q: If I have a service plan, what happens?
A: Nothing changes. However we are in the process of updating and improving our plan options. We’ll send you details when the new plans are available.

Q: How do I schedule a tune-up for my heating system?
A: You can either call us or open an online account and email a request for a tune-up appointment. Please try to do this now so we can give you a convenient time. When the weather turns cold, many people will be calling to schedule appointments.

Q: Will there be changes in my fuel cost?
A: The price can change up or down with the world market, but nothing has changed in terms of our pricing policy. We are driven to deliver value. In fact, your price is now Guaranteed to be below the state average for full service companies.

Q: Who do I send my check to after I get a delivery?
A: Make your check payable to Murray-Heutz Oil and Propane and mail it to 84 General Turner Hill Road Turner Maine 04282. Another option is to go to our website and set up an online account. This allows you to make online payments, which will save you stamps and checks. If you make automatic payments now from your credit card or bank account, these will continue uninterrupted.

Q: What else can I use my online account for?
A: You’ll be able to access your account information 24 hours a day. You can also schedule a delivery, request a tune-up appointment and more.

Q: Can I spread my fuel payments out to make my winter bills lower?
A: Yes. Sign up for our monthly payment plan and your fuel payments are spread out for as long as 11 months. This will make your winter fuel costs much more manageable. Call us right away if you want to get started. The sooner you join, the lower your winter fuel payments will be. If you already pay your bills monthly, you are all set and will continue on your payment plan with the same monthly payments as before.

Q: What about price protection options?
A: We will continue to offer our price cap and fixed programs. Please call for more information to find out which program may work best for you.

Q: I signed up for a price cap. Is it still in effect?
A: Yes, absolutely.

Q: If I have a question or problem, who do I call?
A: Call the same number as before. The customer service experts you have spoken with before will be happy to help you.

Q: What are your normal business hours?
A: Our main office is open from Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30 pm. Our main office is located at 84 General Turner Hill Road in Turner. Our Lewiston office is also open for your convenience: 32 Alfred A Plourde Parkway in Lewiston. After hours, we are on call 24 hours a day for no-heat/delivery emergencies.
