Q: How do I read my new monthly billing statement?
A: Click on one of the PDF links below to view instructions on how to read your billing statement:
Q: What are your office hours?
A: Our office is open for business Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Q: What if I have a problem with my heat when your office is not open?
A: Call our main number and speak to our on-call representative, who will get you in contact with our on-call service technician. We are available to provide emergency heating service 24 hours a day throughout the year—including weekends and holidays.
Q: How long will I have to wait for emergency service?
A: It depends on the situation. We do our best to provide emergency service as quickly as possible. Estimated time is calculated on travel distance, the weather and other prior emergencies.
Q: Should I get a heating tune-up every year?
A: Yes! We highly recommend it. Every equipment manufacturer requires regular maintenance to keep warranties valid. It’s that important. Regular tune-ups prevent a wide range of problems that can lead to expensive repairs. Tune-ups keep your heating system operating at peak efficiency, which helps you save on fuel costs. A tune-up is not expensive, and it will eliminate hassles during the winter. If you have a service plan, your tune-up is included.
Q: Do you install heating systems or do you send out a subcontractor like some other companies do?
A: We use only our own certified technicians to install new heating systems — both oil and propane. We never hire subcontractors. Our technicians are the most highly trained in the industry. Your comfort and our reputation are too important to put in anyone else’s hands.
Q: How long does it take to get an estimate on a new heating system?
A: Not long at all. We can come out to your home at your convenience.
Q: How do I know which system is right for my home?
A: To recommend the right size system for you, we do a lot of calculations. One thing we look at is heat loss — the amount of heat your home loses in the winter. This is just one way we figure how much Btu power your new heating system needs.
Q: How long will it take to install a new heating system?
A: Most of our installations are done in one day, though every job is different and some take longer than others.
